Episcopal Youth Event 2023 with the Diocese of South Dakota
Basic Information:
● Who? EYE is open to all youth ages 15-19.
● Where? EYE 2023 is in College Park, Maryland on the University of Maryland campus.
● When? EYE is July 4th-8th, 2023.
● What? The Episcopal Youth Event is a gathering of youth ages 15-19 from around the world who assemble on a college campus to learn, laugh, and worship together. It is the single greatest and second largest event the Episcopal Church does. It is an event for youth by youth in the Episcopal Church that happens every three years!

Applications due: *Updated* March 22nd
Selections Notified: *Updated* March 24th
Community Covenant Signed: *Updated* March 29th
EYE Community Forms Due: May 15th
Last Day to Change Mind: May 15
Balance Due: June 2nd
Depart for EYE!: July 4th, 2023
Cost Breakdown:
We see great importance in investment from all levels for this event, however cost shouldn’t stop you from applying. While we will be looking for investment, all will be responsible for fundraising for EYE23. The cost for EYE is $400 + Travel, between $750-$1000.
Diocesan Contribution: Registration Down Payment
Congregational Contribution: We expect each congregation to make some financial contribution if their youth are chosen to attend EYE.
Individual Contribution: We want to see an individual investment in attending, please take time to discern what you may be able to afford.
