On Saturday, August 19th, Bishop Jonathan joined the congregations of Christ Church, Milbank, Trinity, Watertown, and other guests at Brown Earth Church in Stockholm. These two churches have a history of conducting an annual service at Brown Earth Church and parishioners from across the Northeastern Deanery have attended. Fr. George Parmeter helped to make the arrangements and Steve Misener once again did a fantastic job of working and playing the old pump organ inside the church. Fr. Larry Ort from St. Paul's, Brookings, and Fr. Charley Chan from the Sisseton Mission also joined us. Despite the heat, it was a wonderful worship service! A time of hospitality and great conversation followed, and we hope that even more people will attend next year!
