ECW HONORED WOMAN 2026: NOMINATIONS NOW ACCEPTED
The Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of South Dakota are asking for
nominations to consider in the selection of the Honored Woman of the Year in 2025. Applications will be accepted now until April 15, 2026.
We are encouraging ALL congregations, parish and mission, throughout the Diocese of South Dakota to consider nominating a woman from their congregation for this honor. There are many women throughout the Diocese who give much of their time and of themselves in serving the needs of their community, their church, their family, and throughout the world they encounter outside their communities.
Your nominee’s resume should include a brief history of her life and involvement in the Episcopal Church such as her participation in various church ministries, offices held, and participation in local, Diocesan, and national organizations. Please limit her resume to 200 words or less and send her photo along with it. In case we need more information about your submission, include your own contact information.

All nominated women (or their information) will be presented and voted on at the Spring ECW meeting that will be held at Trinity Church, Pierre. This meeting will take place in April or May, so please watch for the specific date and time.
All voting will take place in person at the Spring meeting. The voting sites will be Trinity Church, Pierre, and Emmanuel Church, Rapid City, during the New Business of the meeting. No ballots will be mailed out.
