Diocesan Convention begins Thursday, September 22, with our annual clergy conference.
This year, The Reverend Dr. Eileen Shanley-Roberts, Director of Contextual Education and Professor of Practical Theology at Bexley Seabury Seminary in Chicago, Illinois, will be our speaker to present "God & Mammon," a theology of parish administration, helping those of us serving congregations with spiritual practices related to stewardship, finances, and administration. Although this may not sound very exciting Ellaine has a unique way of making daily tasks come alive and she will show us the importance behind some of these tedious tasks. Mother Eileen will be joined by the Reverend Dr. Micah Jackson, President of Bexley Seabury Seminary, who will be one of the keynote presenters at our Diocesan Convention.
