Thunderhead Episcopal Center needs new mattresses! For more information on TEC click here: https://episcopalchurchsd.org/o/edsd/page/thunderhead The Board of Thunderhead Episcopal Center is launching a fundraiser from now through Diocesan Convention to help provide seventy new mattresses to replace the old ones. (The cost of each mattress is approximately $120.00.) So to raise those funds…. We’ve had to make a quick change of plans! Due to the massive number of gallons of water required by a dunk tank, and due to our need to be good stewards of natural resources, especially during a drought... We’re going to use three Gatorade coolers, all dumped at the same time! They are still Dunk Candidates, though! Dunk Candidates will be: The Rev Canon Cody Maynus, Canon for Formation Mitch Honan, Canon for Finance and Property The Rev. Lydia Simmons, Missioner for Camp and Young Adult Ministries The Right Rev. Jonathan Folts, Bishop, Episcopal Diocese of South Dakota The Rev. Canon Dr. Lauren R. Stanley, Canon to the Ordinary Simply donate and vote for your favorite dunk candidate (noted above)! One Dollar = One Vote. You can vote in person at Diocesan Convention at the Thunderhead Booth, AND you can vote online using this link — https://gofund.me/ 3227e7a4. The “winner” will be dunked on September 24th at Diocesan Convention by the runner-up. Again, all funds raised will be used to support TEC in the purchase of new mattresses!
