On Sunday, November 6th, I had the honor of presiding over the second Eucharist service held at St. James Episcopal Church in Bear Creek since the re-opening of the building! St. James is a part of the Cheyenne River Episcopal Mission (CREM), and the Revs. Ellen and Kurt Huber are the Superintending Presbyters of this Mission. The building of St. James was recently overhauled and worked on by a mission team from Christ Church, San Antonio, Texas -- and what they did was nothing short of a miracle of transformation! We are so blessed by their partnership with CREM, and Mother Ellen has been invited to preach at their church on Mother's Day weekend of 2023.
As we just had space heaters to keep us warm, we trusted the Holy Spirit to do the rest! -- and enjoyed some hot coffee and donuts to boot. Thank you, St. James, for your hospitality! -- and may God bless you in this new chapter of your life!
