On Pentecost Sunday, May 28th, the Niobrara Convocation Planning Committee and the Niobrara Council Officers met at Holy Comforter, Lower Brule, to put final touches on next month's upcoming 151st Niobrara Conovcation.
Their time began with a service during which Bishop Jonathan baptized three little girls -- Heather, Heaven, and Harmony -- and celebrated the Holy Eucharist, and the Rev. Kim Fonder preached a fine sermon. This was followed by an abundant lunch and the planning meeting.
This year's Niobrara Convocation will be taking place in Lower Brule and will begin on the afternoon of Thursday, June 22nd and conclude after lunch on Sunday, June 25th. For more information, please check out this link from our Diocesan webpage. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
